Kolkata Ploggers was started by small group of college students with a simple mission in mind- to create a happier, healthier and sustainable world for all. Through actions in real time, we aim to sensitize the masses about climate change, responsible waste management and the plastic menace.
Through our nature conservation drive, we endeavour to realize Sustainable Development Goals 3, 6, 11, 12, 13 and 14. Our flagship weekend plogging drives are a bold step towards taking urgent matters in our own hands. Recognising the need for long term solutions, we have launched "Business with Purpose" campaign to collaborate with kirana stores, stationary shops & cafes to embark on a transformative journey.

APPROACH
Kolkata Ploggers works at the grassroots level to bring about sustainable changes.
We go for regular plogging drives in the morning. It not only allows us to start our day with a fresh mind but also connect with friends and nature. Once the waste bags our full, the waste is segregated and converted into eco bricks/disposed responsibly. We, at KP, firmly believe that work and play should go hand-in-hand. We organise a range of fun activities for our ploggers to build their morale and appreciate their contribution to our community.
We have conducted several strategic, impactful campaigns to educate and emphasise upon the importance of sustainable and eco-friendly waste disposal practices.
